I'm nearly at the end of the residency period. I have one week left.
For the last three weeks, I've been going on walks to different parts of the river, and collecting water. I carry an etching plate in my backpack each time, and scratch a line in it when I get back. The etching plate rubs against the jars, my back, and just generally picks up marks, scratches and the history of this whole process. When I get back, I throw a collection of vessels from porcelain and the collected water.
Tomorrow I'll throw the final vessels from collection number eight.
