This will be shown alongside some fired pieces for Laughing Waters Road: Art, Landscape and Memory in Eltham, at Montsalvat, which coincides with the launch of a book about the area by Jane Woollard.

Kangaroo Ground clay
Was gifted a bag of clay dug from Kangaroo Ground in the 1970's by a Dunmoochin potter. Feeling very lucky to be working with it, through the soaking, sieving, wedging and throwing stages. It's similar in texture to the Eltham clay but more elastic, and also has the mystery of having been dug by someone else in some other time.
