Colours of hand dug clay.

This shows a straight white clay (plates), a blend of recycled white stoneware with hand dug clay slip (top cups) and pure hand dug clay (darker brown bowls are wet, and top small cups are dry).

Recently I was hanging out the washing and looked back at my bungalow covered in creeping plants and edible vegetables. The view reminded me of being in Japan in 2011 and taking this photo:

last year

This time last year I was just getting back from Japan after Kofu Art Festival and living with Yuko-san. I remember I had two weeks in Melbourne and then went to live at Laughing Waters for one month for a residency. I found a disposable camera last week that I carried around Fuji-shi and Kofu and Yuko-sans house.
